Product Description This compact unit provides a powerful, three-dimensional Human Touch Technology leg massage that feels like strong hands kneading along the length of your calves while, from below, thumbs firmly massage the back of each leg. Or, insert your feet, and let the hands and thumbs soothe your soles. A total of 20 rollers are positioned to massage the arches, heels, and balls of your feet. The 10 rollers on each foot simulate the ancient principal of reflexology, which is the belief that pressure applied to specific points on the feet benefits other parts of the body. Ottoman 2.0 operates at two different speeds, and includes a pre-programed mode. You can adjust height and angle for maximum comfort and even use it as a conventional footrest. Our multi-patent Human Touch Technology massage system so closely replicates the therapeutic techniques used by back and spinal care professionals that it is the preferred technology of the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists.

Excellent for tired, sore feet December 28, 2009 K. Takaki I always had sore feet after standing too much, which eventually led to plantar plantar fasciitis and a partial tearing of my plantar fascia. When I started using the Ottoman 2.0, my feet felt much, much better. I think that it increases the circulation in the feet, speeding recovery and making the feet healthier and stronger.
Ok massage, but room for improvement December 12, 2009 Lisa in CT I've been looking for so long for a decent foot massager. This one is the best so far but could stand some improvements. First, if you have wide feet or large calves this probably isn't for you. If you have sensitive or tender feet (surgery, bunions, etc) this is probably not for you. I wear a women's 9 shoe and I have sturdy calves and it can take some time to get situated comfortably.
Ok, enough of the negatives. This gives a pretty thorough massage. There are rollers on all sides so it even does the bottoms of your feet not just the sides. This actually squeezes and kneads my feet which all the other massagers out there don't. They just vibrate or roll the bottoms. The combination is almost like a real foot massage. I wear cushy socks to cushion my feet from the rather hard rollers. You have to be careful how you situate your feet so they don't get pinched between the rollers. All of this type of massager have the hard ball rollers (even Brookstone) and they don't give at all. If you have your foot in the wrong place it feels like it's getting crushed. One of the ones at Brookstone actually sucks your feet in & squeezes them while rolling them really hard on the bottom. You can't get your foot out unless you turn it off. At least with this one if you get crunched you can move your foot out of the way.
This is probably the best massager you'll get right now for the money (around $100-$150) and if they made the rollers out of rubber with more padding I'd give it five stars.
Not for delicate feet & legs.
Human Touch Ottoman 2.0 Robotic Calf & Foot Massager December 24, 2008 K. Price Excellent product. Recommend highly. Does just what it's suppose to do (give great feet and calf massages) Another added plus is that the product arrived much quicker than expected.
Fine for aching calves, not so much for aching feet June 1, 2007 Erikka (Huntington Beach, CA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I received this for Christmas after always asking my husband for foot massages. I tried it out with huge expectations that it was actually going to massage my feet. For some reason, it either hurts them or barely touches them. I wear a ladies' size 8, so I think my feet are fairly normal as far as size goes. When I put my foot in, I can't put all my weight onto my foot or the pressure is too much. Also, full leg wight pushes the thing away from me so I have to keep scooting it back. Alternatively, holding my leg up so my foot feels good makes my leg tired! This thing is AWESOME for massaging calves, but forget the feet. I am going to buy a $30 water massager and watch sadly as my $250 ottoman collects dust.

This product is so much better than I thought it actually would be. I have been working two and three hours a night preparing for a dance competition. Often, I awake with muscle spasms in my calfs after working out hard. Using the massager on a regular basis, I'm now sleeping through the night without leg pain.
